From the Principal

It’s hard to believe that the first half of the school year ended on January 15, 2015.  The students, teachers, staff, and administrators have been diligently working on academics as well as projects and activities.  Second quarter report cards were issued on January 28, 2015.  All grades for the first and second quarter were listed along with a semester average.  The semester average will be used to determine passing or failing status.  I will be meeting with all failing students.  Please call Guidance at 469-8571 extension 3213 to make an appointment to meet with your student’s teachers if your child is receiving a failing grade in any subject. We sent home third quarter progress letters on February 6th and 9th.  Although we have to hold report cards for students that owe fees, progress reports and interims are sent home to all of our students.  Interims will be issued on February 25th.

Ebenezer Middle School continues to flourish and our faculty and staff are working even harder than before to make sure your student(s) receive a top notch education. Please step into our halls and see the pride our students take in keeping the building clean; look into the eyes of a student that has just successfully completed a difficult assignment or ask a teacher why they continue to teach.  I believe you will find that we continue to instill hope for the future within these walls.   I am thankful for the opportunity that I have to be a part of your child’s education and for the blessing of being surrounded by so many people who continue to care about others, not just academically, but physically, mentally, and socially.   My door is always open for you.
