I was born and raised in Sumter. My grandmother and mother were both teachers so it is not surprising that I followed in their footsteps. This is my 35th year teaching and I have spent my entire career in middle school. I have taught in Manning, at Bates, Chestnut Oaks (helped to open the school in 1999), and have been at Ebenezer for 8 years now. I have taught every subject before most recently being a Coach–I taught math. I received an Associates’ degree from Anderson College, a Bachelors’s degree from Francis Marion College, and a Masters’s of Education in Technology from Lesley University. I am married and have a puppy named Rocky.
