I grew up in the mountains of Fairview, North Carolina. After graduating from A.C. Reynolds High School, (1991), I entered the Air Force for a four-year tour. I became an F-16 mechanic after basic training and was sent to Shaw, AFB to begin my duties. I left the Air Force in August 1995 and married my wife (Mandi) in September 1995. Mandi is a 3rd grade math teacher at Shaw Heights Elementary School. We have two beautiful children, Chandler 17 and Ellie 15. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of South Carolina, a Masters degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University, and Master of Science in Educational Administration from Scranton University. I will be teaching 6th grade science at Ebenezer Middle School for the 2017-2018 school year. This will be my 13th year at EMS. I am very excited about this upcoming school year and looking forward to meeting the new 6th grade Tigers. See you at EMS.
