Hello! I am the school counselor at EMS. I service sixth – eighth grade. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education (PreK-6) from St. Augustine’s University, a Master’s degree in Educational Counseling (K-12) from the University of Phoenix, and an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration (K-12) from Liberty University. I am also a certified Global Career Development Facilitator Instructor. Hello to all! My name is Willie Glover and I am a 2017 graduate of Newberry College. I am the Career Specialist here at Ebenezer Middle School. This is my 3rd year at Ebenezer but my 1st year serving as the Career Specialist. This is a new beginning and I am excited to embark on this journey. I am delighted to serve in this community where I was born and raised. I am passionate about educating students on the different pathways they have in life and helping them navigate their interest. I believe in building relationships and teaching students about accountability for them to be great leaders.

Hello! My name is Dorethea Hagans. I was born in Redfox, Kentucky. My family moved to Sumter when I was 11.  My husband (deceased) and I have 4 wonderful children and 3 precious grandchildren. I graduated from Sumter High School. I furthered my education at Strayer University (Millersville campus in Maryland ) where I earned my BA in Business and continued until I earned my MBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management. I also earned my radio broadcasting license and my associate degree in business/fashion merchandising from Central Carolina Technical College. I have worked in the Sumter School District altogether for 17 years in different capacities with a break in between working in Baltimore City Public Schools for 8 years. I enjoy working at Ebenezer Middle School and I work hard to be a strong, trustworthy, and dependable member of the Ebenezer team.
